Compassionate care that’s within reach
Palliative & End-of-Life Support
Respectful, compassionate presence during life’s most tender moments.
Talk to a Care ManagerAt MapleKind HomeCare, our Palliative & End-of-Life Support service is dedicated to providing compassionate, respectful care in the comfort of home for individuals facing a life-limiting illness and for the families who walk alongside them.
We assist with gentle, non-medical support including personal care (such as bathing, grooming, toileting and safe repositioning), companionship, light meal preparation, hydration reminders, and household tasks like laundry and light cleaning — all aimed at preserving dignity, comfort and familiar surroundings.
Understanding the emotional and social dimensions of this journey, our caregivers are there for meaningful presence: listening, engaging in gentle conversation, supporting moments of reflection, helping maintain connections with family and friends, and stepping in so loved ones and primary caregivers can rest, regroup or attend important appointments with peace of mind.
We also provide trusted observation and communication: our caregivers monitor comfort, mood, appetite, mobility and the home environment, and share key updates with you as family or your circle of care — helping support decision-making, relieve stress and ensure everyone’s on the same page.
Every plan is rooted in your loved one’s wishes, cultural values and home-care preferences. At MapleKind, it’s about creating a calm, caring space where each remaining moment is as comfortable, meaningful and supported as possible.
